This Privacy Policy explains how Innovedia Pro ("we", "us", "our"), operating the website innovedia.pro, collects, uses and protects your personal data when you visit our website or contact our support team.
1. Who is responsible for your data
The data controller is Innovedia Pro, based in Peru. You can contact us at hi@innovedia.pro.
2. What data we collect
When you submit the support form, we collect the information you provide:
- Full name and email address.
- The plugin you need help with, and its version, WordPress version and WooCommerce version (optional).
- Your CodeCanyon/Envato purchase code (optional).
- Your message and any file you attach.
We also receive technical data automatically when the form is sent: your IP address, the page it was sent from, and the date and time.
Our website may also use cookies or similar technologies that are necessary for it to work and for security and basic traffic statistics (see section 7).
3. Why we use your data
- To answer your support request and verify your license.
- To send you an automatic confirmation that we received your request.
- To protect the website against spam and abuse.
- To improve our plugins and documentation based on the issues reported.
We do not use your support data for marketing, and we do not sell it. We will only send you newsletters or promotions if you explicitly opt in to them separately.
4. Legal basis
We process your data to respond to a request you have made and, where you tick the consent box on the form, based on your consent. Where applicable, we also rely on our legitimate interest in keeping the website secure.
5. Who we share your data with
We only share data with service providers needed to run the website and handle support, acting on our behalf:
- Our web hosting provider, which also hosts the website and delivers the emails sent from it.
- Cloudflare, which protects and speeds up the website.
- Envato/CodeCanyon, only when we need to verify a purchase code.
These providers may process data outside your country. We do not share your data with anyone else, unless the law requires it.
6. How long we keep your data
We keep support requests for 12 months after the last contact, so we can follow up on related issues. After that, we delete them or anonymize them.
7. Cookies
We use only the cookies needed for the website to work and for security and basic statistics. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; some parts of the site may not work properly if you do.
8. Our plugins and your customers' data
Our plugins run on your own website and do not send any data to Innovedia Pro. If you use a plugin that processes your customers' data (for example, CheckoutOTP verifies customer emails), you are the controller of that data and you are responsible for informing your customers in your own privacy policy.
9. Your rights
You can ask us at any time to access, correct, delete or restrict the use of your personal data, to object to its processing, or to withdraw your consent. Write to hi@innovedia.pro and we will reply within a reasonable time. If you believe we have not handled your data properly, you can also file a complaint with your local data protection authority (in Peru, the Autoridad Nacional de Protección de Datos Personales).
10. Security
We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data, such as HTTPS and access controls. No system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
11. Children
Our website and services are not directed at children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top shows the latest version.
